"Keep your friends close and your enemies closer".
A message by a sitting President of the United States addressing to the people and leaders of Iran in a special Nowruz-new year message through the internet which was found to be very successful during President Obama's campaign that literally took the world by stormed.
Both countries have called each other "the great Satan" and "the axis of evil/terrorist state" AND this message of hope expressed by President Obama in a three-minute speech made available on the Internet and sent to international broadcasters, seems genuine and with much hope AND interestingly state that his administration is committed to diplomacy and with the intention to pursue constructing diplomatic ties with Iran and Iran with the international community.
Obama further said that the United States seeks engagement with Iran "that is honest and grounded in mutual respect" but cautioned that Iran cannot "take its rightful place in the community of nations through terror or arms, but rather through peaceful actions that demonstrate the true greatness of the Iranian people and civilization."
With that I see a great partnership of both nation that will benefit the world. It is my hope that the leaders in Iran will accept this as good faith for reconciliation. And remember, Libya did that too.
