I'll Be BACK...stronger

I must first thank God for giving me the boldness and courage to stand for integrity, justice and righteousness. I must thank my dear family for their undivided support and love for me. I must also thank the people in Dun Duyong for their votes and trust in me. I also thank my supporters outside Dun Duyong for supporting and cheering me everytime I speak on issues and to all DAP leaders and members for their undying support for me. I am touched by the love and care by all the people and YES, members of the Chinese press for their fair covering on all of us.

I also thank the people for all the smses and phone calls. I apologise if I am unable to answer all the smses and phone calls, I hope my supporters will understand. I received almost 50 smses everyday until election and Sunday with a record of almost 200 smses. Thank you so much.

I am indeed GLAD to be of service to the people in Dun Duyong and Malacca. Though I am exhausted, I am happy and excited that we managed to 'tawan' Kota Melaka with a huge majority. I am also happy to note that we won 5 state seats and I believe my team members will not let their voters down as they are men and woman of principle and integrity.

My message is simple. "Lawan Tetap Lawan" and I will be back stronger for the 13th general election.

Cheers and God bless.

First, i would like to thank you and your colleagues for the good fighting spirit in this election for Dun Duyong. However, I have a bit disappointed on the election day tht none DAP rep are present at the main entrance at Sekolah Kebangsaan Semabok(morning) to persuade ppl to vote for DAP. May be, we lost on this place. Anywhere, I'm happy tht the lost margin is not so bad. Hopefully DAP can take over Duyong in the next election. Hidup DAP!

I am proud of your humility since I attended the DAP ceramahs. It is a great victory and a good fight with all the odds against the opponent. You are a victor as long as you have not given up. I believe you are being sharpened for the tougher fight ahead and be ready for the next mission which I believe it is coming real soon. Continue to serve with one heart and you will be blessed. Take good rest and you have built yourself a person with dignity. You are still in our hearts and we rejoice with you for your untiring resources. I and my friends are ready to help you when the time arrives again. So. Be of good cheers and we celebrate for your fight not for self and but for the party(DAP) -- Dependable, Accountable and Proactive. SHALOM.

I agree with you, Anonymous. We lost Perigi Hang Tuah vote a lot. Namely the Malay area. There were supposed to be people manning the place but unfortunately my support base in Duyong is small. I don't have the machinery like the BN. But nevertheless we learnt that mistake dearly and will try our best in the next election.

The other bad side is that the bully in Semabok Dalam is terrible. All posters were taken down the moment we put up. I personally went there to put up my poster and the next hour it was taken down. This is what I call dirty politics within the BN. I KNOW who are the culprit. Damn IDIOT. They never play it fair.

Lawan tetap Lawan.

Dear Damian,
Well done and you have done a very great job. I only attended your ceramah in Lorong Pandan for 2 nights as I was in KL, it was real great. You have voiced out the truth that all of us in the community is suffering. In a way, myself as an undergraduate in one of the public university in Selangor suffered the racist hell in a very painful way. For me, Damien Yeo did not lost in DUN Duyong but it is your opponent's 'bLackground's power' that is so strong that even Bush may not possibly defeat him in this world of dirty politics. You are a born-leader and do continue to serve the community by fighting for us. A person with such bright talent, aggresive speech fighting background and right effort will somehow shut the culprits' acts. In a way, The Chinese and Peranakans of Malacca are proud to have you!!!!

Hey Damien, i've been trying to keep up with what's going on. You did great by stepping up to the plate and walking the walk. Many can just talk talk talk but no action. Way to go. I'm proud to be a Malaysian with citizens like you. Keep on walking and use a louder mic, bro. They'll hear you. You have more time now to work on the next fight.

Yes, you are right. Those idiot guys took down the DAP frags is because they are afraid of DAP. Next time, we should have a good strategies and planning to win back Duyong. Cooperation with PAS and PKR is very important in Malay area to get more vote.
Don't give up friend. We will fight back next time.

Besides allegations of electoral fraud, Badrul also took a shot at Khairy and BN by claiming that the constituency’s campaigning period was marred with BN hooliganism.

“There were various instances where our posters, banners and supporters were harassed by Khairy’s supporters,” he said, adding that there were more than 20 police reports lodged by him and his supporters as a result of alleged BN aggression.

Its ok, we give GTL a chance to be in the exco for 1 term. Else, if too many BN took the DUNs, he wont have a place in Malacca state exco then.
