Like all birthdays we celebrate with much happiness and peace. Tomorrow, 7th June 2008, is the birthday of our beloved King, DYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Yang DiPertuan Agong. Following Betel Nut Chronicles, I also put up a flash presentation on my blog for that glorious purpose for the whole week.
Though the role of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong is largely ceremonial in Malaysia's constitutional monarchy, His Majesty symbolises the fountain of justice and peace that harmonises all races and religions for the construction of peace and harmony, hope and joy of beautiful and glorious Malaysia.
I must agree with Betel Nut that His Majesty Tuanku Mizan is indeed an exemplary Supreme Ruler who is fair and steadfast in his views, His Majesty has indeed shown us that his heart belongs to the people of Malaysia.
Like Betel Nut Chronicles, I want to encourage all to do the same in showing our utmost respect to His Majesty by introducing the colour yellow in our blog headers for a week.
