Terrible and Despicable

What is happening to people now days? The Star reported on Wednesday (11.7) that a housewife will stand trial for alleged murder of her two sons aged 6 and 2. The hospital reports that she will be able to stand trial. The murder weapon : electric cord used to strangled them. Parents killing children. This is insane. Total madness. But nevertheless it happen. Happened to helpless children. The last couple of weeks ago Malaysian all over were shocked to note that a mother was detained and remanded by the police in connection with the murder of her daughter, the bubbly Shearway Ooi, age 3 years old. These children are all innocent but murdered in the arms of people they trust. People they love.

BALIK PULAU: A 30-year-old housewife has been ordered to stand trial at the High Court for the murder of her two sons, aged six and two.

Magistrate Noorhisham Mohd Jaafar on Wednesday transferred the case to the High Court after deputy public prosecutor Mohd Rehan Mohd Ariff tendered the requisition order.

Rosniza Ibrahim is charged with two counts of murdering her sons Muhamad Alif Hakimi, six,
and Muhamad Alif Hazimi, two, by strangling them with an electric iron cord at their flat in Taman Indah, Lebuh Batu Maung 8, Bayan Lepas, on Feb 18.

Rosniza is not represented by counsel.

She had not been offered bail and nor did she enter a plea, as murder is punishable with a mandatory death sentence upon conviction under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

She was first charged in court on March 1, and the court sent her to the Hospital Bahagia in Tanjung Rambutan for observation.

The hospital found her fit to stand trial.
